At the existing Lazaropole base station, an additional upgrade was made with the integration of a new hybrid system for powering the equipment. The power supply system of the equipment mainly consists of the following segments:
• Photovoltaic power plant – solar energy is absorbed with the help of photovoltaic panels, it is converted into electricity, and the resulting electricity is stored in accumulator batteries.
• Diesel generator that automatically turns on in case of lack of accumulated energy from the batteries.
In this way, in order for the equipment to function from the site, about 13,000 liters of diesel fuel are saved annually, which is a significant contribution to the protection of the environment from the emission of harmful gases.
